FAQs
What other courses are available for my drivers?
At this time, we are launching the LMS with “Best Practices for the Operation & Safe Use of Dump Trailers” as our primary course. As they become available, additional course as well as resources will be available. We look forward to expanding our offerings as the year progresses.
Why is HEAT the best LMS for construction hauling organizations?
Based on our research, there is no other platform in Canada, and nothing of this quality in North America. While many LMS’ offer trucking resources – there are none that offer courses designed for dump trailers.
Who can take your courses?
Our Association is Manitoba based so you may see some courses and resources that are specifically designed for Manitoba users, however our “Best Practices for the Operation & Safe Use of Dump Trailers Course” was designed to be applicable all across Canada.
We encourage both those with a new class 1 license or experienced long-haul truckers to learn more about the industry and open themselves up to new opportunities through this course. We also encourage companies who employ drivers of different types of dump trucks to us this as an onboarding tool or as a refresher course for seasoned employees who could use some reminders about best industry practice.
Why do I need a mobile-friendly LMS for my employees?
Mobile-friendly learning is valuable for everyone! With the increasing capabilities of Smart phones and tablets, less people have computers in their homes and most employees who drive for a living don’t have access to one at their home base. Mobile friendly learning offers flexibility, accessibility and convenience – allowing you to get employees trained as soon as the need arises.
